Todd Vandenhaak is a Managing Director with Imperium Consulting Group. He provides expert services and claims analyses for schedule delays, cost impacts, productivity/inefficiency analyses, change order assessments, performance reviews, damages quantification and differing site conditions.
Todd is a professional civil engineer with over 25 years of experience in the design and construction industry. His experience includes oil and gas, process/petrochemical facilities, power plants (coal, gas and nuclear), transportation (ports, rail and highways), tunneling, buildings (commercial, residential, educational facilities and hospitals), mining, hydro, manufacturing and underground infrastructure industry sectors. Within these sectors, Todd provides expert consulting on schedule, cost and scope throughout the project lifecycle through the development of delay and disruption claims and expert services. He provides expertise in Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, early completion acceleration analysis, claim development and cumulative impact analyses.
Todd's claims consulting experience includes all phases of the dispute resolution process in various Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) forums. He has produced expert reports and testified in arbitration in the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe and the Middle East. The venues of his expert work include the American Arbitration Association (AAA), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals. Todd's expert services include contract claims and Builder’s Risk/Construction All Risk “CAR” claims.
